                    About Unizar Lodge

Unizar Lodge Number 347 was chartered June 1, 5994 A.L. (1994 A.D.).  Two existing lodges, University Lodge # 316 and Zarthan Lodge #309 agreed to merge, but elected to do so in the form of a new lodge – Unizar Lodge.  The Most Worshipful Grand Lodge of Ancient Free and Accepted Masons of Minnesota granted them a charter as Unizar Lodge #347.  During the last 12 years, Unizar has maintained a modest membership and carried out its respective duties to God, to Family, to Community and to our Fraternity.

Mission Statement

Unizar Lodge seeks to reclaim the esteem and traditional aspects of Freemasonry by returning to the roots of our noble institution.  We are confident that, as we embrace the traditional and educational aspects of the Craft, our beloved Fraternity will experience qualitative growth in terms of quality and quantity of membership. We extend an invitation to men of good will to become united with us in this enterprise.

Our Goal

Our goal is to provide men that embrace the traditional values of toleration 1 and liberality 2 a place to grow in character and educational attainment.  Such individuals share the view that all persons are to be treated as equals, regardless of race, ethnicity, social status or religion.  If that sounds like you, we would like to hear from you.

What is Freemasonry?

Freemasonry is a society that utilizes the tools and symbols of the Ancient Stone-Craft Masons in allegorical and symbolic ways to impress upon the minds and hearts of its members the moral truths inculcated in those symbols. Freemasons strive to better themselves, to be charitable and to positively impact the local communities in which they reside.
